hello everyone! I hope whoever is reading this is having a fabulous day. I just thought id update this since i got some extra time on my hands because i only have one class today and it doesnt even start till 1:30...its a beautiful thing. So school started monday, and i must say it has been a really great week. I think im really going to like my classes this year, all my teachers seem cool, and most of all its been sooo fun hanging with all my friends again. Plus, i love my new house and roomates, which its fun getting to know them better. Im takin this one class that i can already tell is really going to challange my beliefs spiritually. the class is astronomy and the teacher is all about teaching new ideas and i get a feeling he teaches assuming all of us know evolution to be true.  the cool thing is though , already my mind is blown just in the fact that our God is SUCH A HUGE GOD. I cant even imagine! the maker of the whole universe......its just amazing. I mean we all know God is big, but when i start to get a better understanding of how extremely big our universe is, i get even a bigger picture of God. And the fact that my God wants a relationship with me and loves me more than anyone else ever could makes it all the better. it puts a smile on my face knowing the God that creates the universe is the one in control. Such comfort and hopes come from that!  but anyways on the school subject....its kinda funny b/c considering parking permit prices are a too high for my liking (i dont see the point in buying a permit that doesnt even guarentee a spot, but thats a whole other story) anyways becuase of that i ride the bus/shuttle thing from Lloyd noble, and since i have no meal plan anymore i have to bring my own lunch most days to school. I feel like im back in elementary school again: brown baggin it and catchin the bus. haha but i kinda like the bus cause just about every time i ride i see someone i know.

so, i dont know about you guys, but i love the first week of school because i get to hang out and do whatever, withought worring about big projects/ midterms and all that stuff. this week i got to do everything from hittin up the 50cent movie theaters to goin to a jars of clay concert. (which was great by the way). I alway went to bethel on wednesday night....which im pretty sure im going to continue doing. I still love wildwood, but since we dont have any college gathering during hte week, i think bethel will be good thing to get involved in. well, i am going to watch the price is right now (which im determined to be one one day by the way) God bless to everyone!

hello everyone. I am now back home in denton texas (ill be here till like june 1). i must say summer started out a lil slow, considering i got out earlier then all my buds. But now its definately more enjoyable. Yesterday, I got to hang with britt and charlie, which i havent seen either of them in forever. and we went to a sister hazel concert in addison to make it all the better. Im a big sister hazel fan. And then tonight was great cause i got to get together with some OU folks. Too bad we got kicked out of a bar though...

ok its actaully not as bad as it sounds, we were going to here Nick Smith play in grapevine, and the waitresses pulled a lil power trip and kicked out all of us that were underage. But thats ok cause we still got to hear Nick and we hung out afterwards. It was good times. I love my OU friends (i love all my non-OU friends too, just for the record) but i already miss them and it hasnt even been a week. I miss the whole college environment. 

anyways, im really tired and am gunna head to bed........goodnight to all!

well hello everyone! it has been a long time since i've written anything on this (i always forget about it) but someone recently suscribed to my site so it inspired me to write somthin down. so...right now im about to watch game 4 in the mavs vs. rockets playoff series. GO MAVS! I've had a good weekend so far. I finally went to support the OU baseball team with some friends, which turned out to be way fun! Also, my big Becca Moreland and her band had a concert last night that was exciting. I cant believe theres only one more week of school left. I am definately glad its nearing an end, im pumped for summer....although i know i will miss all my buds BIG TIME. My first year has flown by, but overall i have really loved it here. OU is great! its crazy to think how much things can change just over the course of one year. Lots of stuff has happened (good and bad) over the last year, and God has taught me many many lessons through it all. i have definately learned so much in many different areas which is cool. No matter how hard or crazy things get theres always hope in the Lord! thats so comforting:)

anyways, about summer, i will be going home to Denton may 10th or 11th...depends when i can get all my stuff packed up and what not. and i will be home till bout june 15, then im moving back to norman. Me and 4 other girls are living in a SAWEETTT house next year, its gunna be awesome!!! Its me, lex, becca, amanda von, and paige. (but only me and amanda will be there over the summer) So anyways all that to say: all my friends back home--->we need to hang out before june 15thish, and on the flip side... everyone staying in norman this summer, i def. want to hang out once i move back.

I REALIZED TODAY THAT I HAVE THE BEST ROOMIE IN THE WORLD!!! IF YOU DON'T KNOW HER, HER NAME IS ALEXIS BARKER, AND SHE IS AMAAAAZING!

just had to get that out of the way first off... so, life has been fun! i have decided to dedicate this week to learning the art of jello sculpting. yes, it is a real hobby! i went to the museum the other day and there were these giant sculptures made entirely of jello!!! you could even press one of those commentary buttons and Bill Cosby himself sang the jello jigglers song... anyone out there remember that one?... anywho, i went to wally-world and bought all the jello cups they had, only to find out it that you must use the box kind in order to freeze them into the shape you want. what am i gonna sculpt you may ask??? well, it may be a hard one to tackle, but i decided on Michelangelo's David (i think he did that, not so sure, but we'll go with it!) so if i seem preoccupied this week, not returning phone calls, unable to be reached...don't worry, i haven't forgotten about you and i still cherish your friendship, but i think it's important to follow my dreams! At least if i shoot for the moon, even if i miss i'll land among the stars!!!

So there is a bat in my room. We named him Little Richie. We even bought him a little piano... sometimes late at night, we wake up to Moonlight Sonata! The only downfall is all the crickets i fill my bed with so he can have sustanance.

More to come: unless the jello scultping takes over my life. Does anyone know if jello melts??? if so, i need to find a large fridge, b/c i plan on making the David sculpture life-size...
